List of Hospitals with English Capability in Tokyo

Now, more than ever, the need for top-class hospitals with various services cannot be further emphasized. But for foreign residents living in a non-English speaking country like Japan, the standard goes beyond the quality and range of services – there needs to be English capability, too.

In healthcare, language problems cause miscommunication between the healthcare professional and the patient, lowering both parties’ happiness and compromising the quality of service and patient safety.

Tokyo Hospitals and Clinics with English Speaking Capability

As such, there has to be higher commitment to meeting patients’ needs beyond healthcare, but also patient satisfaction. Medical professionals and patients’ satisfaction, as well as the quality of healthcare delivery and patient safety, are all affected by language difficulties. For this reason, many hospitals employ translator services, which raises the cost and length of treatment sessions.

In this guide, we list the hospitals in Tokyo with English capabilities that can cater to the many foreign residents based in Japan, including Filipinos.

Minato-ku:

In 1947, the three existing wards of Tokyo City were merged into one ward, which became known as Minato. The modern version of this ward exhibits the cultural and geographical divisions of Yamanote and Shitamachi.

The American Clinic Tokyo was established in 1954 by Frederick I. Shane, M.D., an American physician. For almost 65 years, it has served the English-speaking community. Grant Mikasa, M.D. took over the clinic in 2013, and it is now based in Akasaka, Tokyo.

This clinic’s goal is to be residents’ one-stop shop for all their health needs. A place that values patients’ time and privacy. Their team believes that by keeping the practice small – a micro-practice – they will be able to be more efficient, adaptable, and personable. They are dedicated to making a better choice in the hospitality industry.

Here’s what Dino M shared about their experience in their last visit in this facility: “Excellent customer service, their reception is very helpful and they reply right away to your emails. All the staff speak fluent English so no worries if your Japanese is limited. It was easy to book an appointment and I think their survey/assessment through the portal was very efficient. After your initial appointment, you can even book following appointments and be seen through video call. Centrally located and there is paid parking in the nearby building, it’s located in a 3-4 story white building. The doctor was also very patient and understanding, they take the time to listen although it can be quite expensive due to not being covered by National Health Insurance, it was well worth the visit. The fees are what you would normally pay for a psychiatrist visit anyway like in the States and/or any private practice. Highly recommend!”

The environment inside the clinic is clean and well-cleaned, and infection control is better than when I went to other clinics, so I was able to receive a medical examination with peace of mind despite this time. Thank you very much.”

I’m so happy and a lucky one to be brought here by a clinic nearby, thanks the doc too! What a great experience <3 How comfortable and painless it was! Smooth operation and frequent visits to my room. Beautiful doctor and nurses, with kind and caring hearts 🙂 They all shine like diamonds to me, so pretty and made me feel quite better. Who could be more kind? I was impressed! Truly impressed! Can’t tell here enough how comfortable the stay was! Now I’m home with little pain but with more warming smiles of them and gratitudes for that! All the best and kisses xxx

In September 2006, Dr. KUMADA founded KUMADA CLINIC. He graduated from the University Of Tokyo School Of Medicine with a medical degree in 1990 and a Ph.D. in 1995. (In 1981, he earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science from Tokyo University.) He was born in 1957 in the Kagoshima prefecture of Kyushu Island, Japan, and is the father of three children.

Here’s what Mónica Santos shared about their experience in their last visit in this facility: “I used to go to another ENT doctor who specializes in singers and is very popular but honestly there’s no one like Dr Kumada. He really listens to you, he has a good sense of empathy and when he talks to you seems to be your counselor as well. He’s not trying to sell you stuff or prescribing things if you do not need it. I stand in awe for how great professional he is. Japan needs more doctors like him. Needless to mention the staff is awesome as well.”

Another satisfied patient, Tanya, has this to say about this practice: “Probably one of the best and nicest Doctor I’ve seen in Tokyo. He is so kind, patient and listens to all your concerns. He does an absolute thorough check regarding your concerns and is equipped with technology to do so as well. He explains the problem very well and even goes down to the root cause and helps fix that too! I’m so happy I found him for any ENT related matters. His receptionists are very sweet as well and they speak English fluently. Dr Kumada can also fluently communicate in English which is helpful for any non Japanese speakers. The pharmacy is located right near the clinic as well so that’s very convenient to pick up your medication.”

Here’s what Chrisdesu shared about their experience in their last visit in this facility: “I cannot recommend Dr Nakamura and his clinic enough! Dr Nakamura is incredibly easy to talk to and happily did so in English for me. He listened well to my problem and organized certain procedures the same day for me. Incredibly efficient and explained my results and so forth clearly. His staff were also very lovely and friendly. I was 100% happy to have found him and I would happily recommend him and his clinic to anyone.”

Here’s another review shared by Tracyann Brown about this practice: “I can highly recommend Dr. Nakamura. He is truly knowledgeable about his feel and really put me at ease from the first meeting. It was so refreshing to be able to describe my case to someone who understood and was able to actually help. I will definitely be going there from now on! It is true that the nurses don’t really speak English but they are so kind and gentle that I felt right at home. Thanks so much guys!”

National Medical Clinic was founded in 1988 and has been providing the best in paediatric and family medicine ever since. Its native English-speaking paediatrician, as well as English-fluent physicians, nurses, and staff, are all skilled and dedicated to making their patients’ time as healthy and joyful as possible.

Every member of its team attempts to treat each patient as they would their own children. From the moment you step through the door, they dedicate themselves to making your kid and you feel at ease, from initial consult to follow-up.

Here’s what Heiko Stuis thought about their last visit to this facility: “We went there with our new born. Best best guess decision we ever made: Dr. Che is a very warm and considerate pediatrician. He takes all the time that is needed, want to understand how the baby, but also the parents are doing. He is very experienced in different medical treatments from different countries worldwide and e.g. proposed an appropriate vaccination plan for us, that suits European, Japanese and Chinese needs. But was not pushing on anything, if we would have decided against some specific vaccinations he would have fully respected our decision. The whole team speaks perfectly English and is very kind and friendly.”

Another satisfied client, J Gonzaga, has this to say: “We had a wonderful experience here. My child enjoyed his visit and everyone is friendly and accommodating. Thank you, Dr. Karl and staff for the professionalism, and warmth. My child never enjoyed his doctor visit as much as he did today!”

11.  Saiseikai Central Hospital

Saiseikai was founded in 1911 as the Imperial Gift Foundation, based on Emperor Meiji’s Imperial Rescript. Then, in 1915, Tokyo Saiseikai Hospital, which had a large network of branches and was known as Saiseikai Shiba Hospital, was established. After World War II, the network was reorganised, and Saiseikai Shiba Hospital became Tokyo Saiseikai Central Hospital.

For more than a century, the staff at this hospital has worked tirelessly to provide medical care to everyone in need, guided by the “Saisei” mentality (overcoming problems posed by ever-changing social and economic situations). In view of Japan’s current situation, we will continue to work, aid, and provide for everyone over the next 100 years by re-evaluating how health, welfare, and medical services should be addressed.

Here’s what svaardt thought about their last visit to this facility: “I owe the Staff of this Hospital the life of my Wife, one day, if I ever become Wealthy like (Softbank’s) Son samma, I will repay them in kind.

Though before then, I wish to add, as a non-Japanese Speaker, the Doctors and Staff were beyond amazing.   My Wife spent nearly a year within this Hospital’s ICU, and the staff were to me, flexible towards my off-hours visiting during her coma time.

As a local company employee, I had to have the obligatory medical insurance… which this Hospital accepts.

The total bill was astronomical…. yet, (after a bit of “common-sense” legal haggling) with the Insurance Company, was covered.

Everyone’s experiences are different, but mine are Personal, and with the follow-up visits that we still need to make with the Hospital, I wish to say that this  Hospital is 1st class from my experience.”

Shinagawa East Medical Clinic provides a variety of services designed to meet the varying needs of individuals and companies traveling across various types of trips. We can help you plan your trip and provide vaccinations for all your medical conditions.

Here’s what Bruce Lee Wander thought about their last visit to this facility: “During my visit to the clinic for vaccinations I also saw a practitioner in the regular general medicine section of the establishment for a very bad cold I had for over a week. I didn’t have to wait that long even if there were a lot of people waiting.  The doctor was a woman; she was very courteous and immediately she prescribed me some very helpful medicines. After all a very good experience.”

Another satisfied patient, GM, has this to say about their experience: “I was at the clinic a few years back and it was a great experience but I didn’t know they had also a Travel clinic. I was out of the country for a while. I’m going to Vietnam in 2 weeks so I came here to get some vaccinations. Didn’t have to wait long, the doctor was very polite and the nurse was cute. 14. The Jikei University Hospital

The Jikei University Hospital

The former Nihon University School of Medicine was established in 1881 by Takakihiro Kanehiro. It was the result of his desire to provide medical care for the poor.

When he was a professor, Takagi was deeply affected by the suffering of patients. He realized that it was necessary to think about the patient’s pain and suffering.

In 1887, at the request of His Majesty the Empress, a hospital was born in Tokyo. The name “Jikei” was taken from the word “ji”, which means “healing”.

This spirit has been passed down through the generations, and it has been the basis of all the staff members’ work. Many examples include team medical care, which involves the sharing of expertise and resources among various health care professions.

Here’s what Scott Latham thought about their last visit to this facility: “Great hospital, had plastic surgery for a cancer on my face. Because of the brilliance of this surgeon I have zero scars. Stayed for a week here and was treated very well, of course the food was hospital food. It’s a hospital. I believe the foreigners complaining here probably have a very low comprehension of the Japanese language. My doctor spent hours planning my surgery and explained it very clearly to me. Excellence, put yourself in their hands with confidence.

Another satisfied patient, 50YearOld NoviceGymMan, has shared their experience getting services from this practice: “If you live within the area, and have an immediate medical concern of importance (even out of hours), go here. Over my years within the area, here, this is the place that I nearly always end up at with my Kids. Hospitals have a Schedule of when they accept patients, though this place always seems to accept them. They’re good too.”

Kei Takeyachi, who is a third-generation chiropractor, opened this office in Aoyama, which is a trendy district in Tokyo. It is close to Omotesando station.

Yoneo Takeyachi originally established the Tokyo Chiropractic Research Office back in 1949. It was later expanded by his three sons Kazuyoshi, Hiroaki, and Nobuyoshi.

Since its establishment in 1948, Tokyo Chiropractic has been visited by people from all around the world.

Here’s what Jennifer Wong thought about their last visit to this facility: “Dr Kei has been so careful, gentle and precise in my treatment and I am feeling a lot better compared to what I was experiencing earlier on. When I first saw him, I was walking in pain not knowing that for my shoulders, hips were off centre. All these affected my proper night’s rest. I also suffer from neck nerve compression but seeing Dr Kei together with seeing the physiotherapist for electro therapy has helped me feel better especially from all the musculoskeletal issues I am battling with. I am impressed with Kyoko’s English and her great service. Best of all, am grateful for Dr Kei who has been not just easy to talk to, but his calm and patient nature, he has been very skilful and especially encouraging to help me feel normal again. I am sleeping and walking so much better! Highly recommend this clinic!

Another satisfied patient, Majesta, has this to say about her experience in this practice: “Very nice and friendly staff! They all speak perfect English and are very willing to help you out. The clinic is very clean and professional. They provide you robes to change into for the session. The doctor was very professional as well. I will be going back for a 2nd and 3rd session, hopefully it will really fix my back issues.”

Tokyo Midtown Clinic take pride in providing comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. We are committed to providing the best possible care and support to help people live a healthy lifestyle.

Here’s what Danielle thought about their last visit to this facility: “I went here for my annual health check (required by Japanese companies). As there are not a lot of English options for this kind of check in Tokyo, I was very impressed that all nurses and doctors spoke enough English that there was no confusion. Check went quickly and all documents were provided in English. They are slightly more expensive than most health checks, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs a health check and wants all of their results in English.”

Another patient, Vimmy, has this to say about her overall experience in this facility: “I went to Tokyo Midtown Clinic today (one of the recommendations from the post on TEN) and I had a blood test, urine test and they also did an x-ray there. All went smoothly, except for the lady who did my x-ray, she was very cold and didn’t bother telling me that I can stop clinging onto the rails. All the staff were nice, attentive and helpful except her (I wanted to give only 4 stars because of her treatment but the clinic as a whole deserves more than that). After that, I had a consultation with the doctor where I find out that I’m perfectly healthy.

Though she doesn’t speak English but she asked so many question and really curious about what’s happening with me, the interpreter was also equally amazing at her job. She told me that the reason why my poop is watery is because of the medications that were prescribed to me by the doctor from Nishiazabu International Clinic. This quite upsets me because this means that the doctor in Hiroo made a mistake in his diagnosis of my condition. Also the doctor from Tokyo Midtown Clinic even said that you cannot diagnose if something is wrong with your colon with just an ultrasound so whatever the doctor from the Nishiazabu International Clinic told me didn’t have any basis. And because his English (Nishiazabu International Clinic doctor) is limited, when he told me that my colon is “severe” (this is his exact words) while looking at my ultrasound result and that I have a strange movement of my colon–all these mean nothing. I highly recommend Tokyo Midtown Clinic.”

Here’s what Joe Ganim thought about their last visit to this facility: “I was in Tokyo and needed urgently to see a podiatrist. And my hotel recommended Tokyo podiatry. Dr Koji Kawamata saw me straight away and fixed a very painful problem in one visit. Koji speaks fluent English and anyone with a foot problem in Tokyo would be very well served seeing him and I highly regarded his services.”

Another patient, Maho Y, shared their review: “I went to an orthopedic surgeon in Tokyo, which is designated as an outpatient clinic, but even if I told them that my legs were not strong and that there was no pain change for half a year, only cramped medical certificates such as sprains and right ankle joint inflammation I was in trouble because I didn’t get any hints to cure. Even university hospitals treated pain for unknown reasons.

Dr. Podiatorist answers all pains logically based on medical evidence. As I went around many hospitals, I learned that Japan has few doctors specializing in lower limbs and that there is no environment to learn. Kawamata Dr. will logically explain the taping type and winding method.

I think it will take some time since I came to the Podiatry Clinic since I had chronic pain, but I would appreciate it if I could relieve the pain as much as possible.

If you are having trouble with unexplained pain, please visit us. Currently, it seems that reservations often take about 3 weeks, so we recommend early reservations.”

20. Tokyo Takanawa Hospital

tokyo takanawa hospital

Our department has been serving foreigners since 1951. Aside from Pediatrics, we also have other departments such as Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynecology. The Gastrointestinal team is specialized in the treatment of various diseases such as gall bladder, liver, and pancreas.

A dedicated nurse can help guide and accommodate foreigners in Japan. Due to the hospital’s proximity to other facilities such as hotels and transport hubs, they do not see many foreigners seeking medical attention while they’re staying in Japan.

Their interpreters are trained to speak English, Chinese, Russian, and other languages. Their polite and attentive service has earned them the trust of our patients.

Here’s what Jenny Anne thought about their last visit to this facility: “The interpreters in this facility are highly commendable, especially Erica-さん. She gladly offered her assistance from the filling out of forms to having been interviewed by a doctor, to walking through the x-ray department and getting back to the physician, to paying my bills.Being a foreigner in a non-English speaking land isn’t as tough as others have imagined, especially in Tokyo. It’s so reassuring to have someone who can guide you all the way!”

Here’s another  review from Anass Driss: “There is a dedicated office with english speaking workers right by the entrance that will guide you and assist you with everything. The medical services were adequate and professional. A very satisfying experience.”

1. The Japanese Red Cross Medical Center

jrcm

The JRC Medical Center is a hospital in Tokyo that is controlled by the Japanese Red Cross Society. It is located in Hiroo, Tokyo.

The Japanese Red Cross Hospital was originally located in Tokyo’s Shibuya-ku. It was moved to its current location in 1891. Behind the bus stop is a 500-year-old tree, which was designated as a natural monument.

Here’s what Sophia P thought about their last visit to this facility: “The hospital is huge, and they give me vaccines, so I have navigated the hospital. It seems a bit complicated, but everyone is very nice, and all you need to do is ask. They are always quite friendly and accommodating. One reviewer said they came here for an influenza check-up. Don’t come here for something a small clinic can do. In general, large hospitals in Japan are not the same as in other countries. Small clinics serve the purpose of general medicine. Large hospitals are where you go when small clinics don’t cut it. There tends to be a longer wait because of the specific nature of everyone’s diseases.

The grounds are amazing; very healing with huge old trees, all kinds of plants, fruit trees, and even an herb garden. They also have a number of green roofs. Apparently they have a special group of volunteers dedicated to the landscape.

There is a Starbucks inside, and small shop. There is also a nursing school and an orphanage on the grounds.”

This clinic now offers dermatology, allergy, and internal medicine departments, so that patients with special needs can easily seek their services.

With years of experience in providing medical examinations overseas, they aim to become a clinic that’s dedicated to providing quality care.

Here’s what Miki Yamada thought about their last visit to this facility: “I left the fever of my child in the morning and went to a doctor in the evening on my way home from the lesson.

Is lesson more important than a child’s condition? ? why

I was scolded by my teacher if she would come to see me sooner, but there is no other teacher who will be careful at this time.

I was ashamed of my own laziness.

I am grateful now that my child has been well with the right judgment and prescription.

Looking at the word of mouth alone, it seems that something bad is written, but she is an excellent teacher who has acquired many qualifications in the United States.”

3. Sendagaya International Clinic

Many people who visit Japan for medical services face long lines and slow-moving medical facilities. The country’s medical system is also not ideal for foreign visitors. Also, some of the specialists are not fluent in their native language.

The goal of the Sendagaya Clinic was to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for foreigners. Its founder, Dr. Shinozuka, came up with the idea after working in a busy emergency hospital for over 20 years. He saw how stressful it was for patients to seek medical help for their ailments.

The comprehensiveness of the CPC system is designed to guide you through the various steps of seeking the best possible medical services. From the initial consultation to major surgery, the clinic will do its best to ensure that you get the best possible treatment.

Dr. Shinozuka is a member of the Japan Society of Travel Medicine and has been actively involved in the organization’s activities since its establishment 12 years ago. He is also involved in the dissemination of information about travel medicine to the public.

Here’s what Patrick Fong thought about their last visit to this facility: “Great doctor. Very nice. Got injured on my vacation and the doc was recommended by my hotel staff. Saw me right away, no wait. Got me treated with an IV, then prescribed me enough needs for the whole trip. Office was clean. Staff all spoke great English, and that amazing Japanese service you’d expect here.”

Here’s another review left by Arun Menon about this clinic: “Nice experience with this small clinic. Convenient location which is close to the station. Doctors and staffs are so helpful and everyone can speak English. Accept Japanese health insurance. Appointment booking is easy as they are so responsive to email and phone calls. Highly recommended, especially for foreigners.

Cons: Highly expensive if you don’t have insurance

Here’s what Terje Langeland thought about their last visit to this facility: “I’ve gone here for years and always gotten excellent care from Dr. King. Twice, he correctly diagnosed health issues I was having that no other doctor had been able to figure out, and I was able to treat them successfully as a result. My kids have gotten all their childhood immunizations here, following the CDC schedule, and Dr. King has made sure they each have complete international vaccination records.”

This organization banks on the word “credo,” it’s a word that the founder of this clinic uses almost the same way as the clinic’s philosophy, which revolves around efficiency and productivity improvement in the medical field, providing standard medical care for patients, career advancement for internal staff, and challenges for the medical industry. This is what Chairman Sho Naito thinks is the most important thing he’s doing in medicine.

There are many things that are important, but intuitively the most important things are “not to refuse patients” and “to be happy that all the staff can work happily”. There is no priority better than this. Chairman Naito said that he wants to protect these two no matter what. Apart from carrying out this mission, there is no point in continuing providing services.

Here’s what Anna R thought about their last visit to this facility: “This clinic was a rescue for us. We had two people sick while visiting Tokyo.

Convenient location, easy to get by train. Not expensive, as some other we called, and convenient hours.  We came over around 8pm and they still were open!

The doctors speak some English, but also they have images with the symptoms, I thought it is a great idea! They also were very friendly and helpful and the wait time was minimal. There is a pharmacy right next door.”

Another satisfied customer, Anthony D, had this review about the facility: “This clinic saved me big time, I didn’t know what I had all I knew I had a really sore throat and it hurt to talk. Walked in got greeted by a nice lady in English and she told me to fill out 1 sheet of paper. Got called in after 15 minutes, explained my symptoms to the doctor and she said I’ll start feeling well by the end of the day. Later that day I felt great, the perception she gave me worked and all took 30 minutes. This is my go to clinic from now on, convenient as well.”

This clinic provides medical services that are designed to cater to the needs of business people. They open at 8am and cater to people who usually feel sick in the morning. They also offer a variety of descriptions for every condition.

In this clinic’s bid to provide faster and more concise services, they use the best technology available to serve their patients. They also make sure you understand your medical condition and at the same time, meet your expectations in business.

The Tokyo Business Person’s Clinic is a primary care clinic for businesspeople and international travellers in Tokyo. Its head physician, Dr. Ito, is a trained medical practitioner who consults on internal medicine, dermatology, and travel medicine in both Japan and the United Kingdom. All of our employees have worked in other countries and are aware of any concerns patients may have about receiving medical treatment outside of their home country. In contrast to many other countries, Japan’s national policy is to provide medical care through experts rather than general practitioners.

Here’s what Jo Esco thought about their last visit to this facility: “Dr. Ito was nice, decent English, explained my skin condition to me. The clinic also accepted health insurance which was great. I paid 1500 yen for my visit. I recommend if you have dermatological conditions you want diagnosed. There is also a pharmacy in a natural Lawson across the street and they do speak some English which is helpful.”

Another patient, Roberto Alvarez, has this to share about this facility: “Dr. Ito is by FAR my favorite doctor. Of all of the doctors I’ve come across in Japan, he is the most patient, willing to listen and address every single issue that you are having. He takes time to explain thi

ngs in ways that are very easy to understand, and an extra for me is that he speaks English incredibly well (obviously not a requirement for most people, but it allows me to feel comfortable and confident that we are both on the same page). I have been to this clinic many times and i’ve never had to wait for more than 30 minutes, even though ive never made an appointment. It stays open reasonably late, and even if you arrive right before closing, you never feel rushed. Based on my many visits, I highly recommend this clinic.”

NTT Medical Center Tokyo is a multi-speciality hospital that offers comprehensive medical care to patients. It focuses on regional collaboration and patient-centred care.

In 1952, the first hospital in Japan to provide medical care was opened in Gotanda. The facility, which became known as the Kanto Teishino Hospital, was located in the city of Tokyo.

Prior to 1986, it was a hospital for the employees of the predecessor of the NTT Group, which is known as Nippon Telegraph and Telephone. In 1986, it was opened to the public as an authorized insurance medical facility.

Here’s what Rene Travino thought about their last visit to this facility: “A great experience! Everything right about Japan; efficient, thorough, helpful and with phenomenal customer service. Most staff speak English and they have interpreters available, if needed, and they also have interpreter devices that work with the push of a button. I was an in-patient for five days, and is was an awesome experience. The food was surprisingly good. Japanese, of course, but very visually appealing. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold.”

Here’s another feedback shared by Aaron about their experience in this facility: “Had a medical emergency and was referred here by another clinic. Staff were able to help in English and the Dr. I saw (Dr. Hayashi) went above and beyond to make sure things were resolved. I would give six stars just for Dr. Hayashi’s commitment if I could. Thank you.”

6. TAKAHASHI CLINIC

When patients return home, this clinic’s professionals attempt to clearly and carefully explain the diseases detected and the contents of treatment so that they feel satisfied.

In addition, they strive to establish an environment in which patients can talk about anything they’re concerned about and feel anxious about in a relaxed setting.

Doctors and patients are partners who work together to treat diseases, according to this clinic’s basic perspective.

Some patients present with abrupt symptoms such as stomachaches or colds, while others seek treatment for chronic disorders such as diabetes, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, and thyroid disease.

Both patients are willing to discuss and obtain appropriate therapy in this facility.

Patients who present with unexpected symptoms are diagnosed as not being seriously ill, and medication is given to alleviate the discomfort. This clinic’s professionals also frequently inquire about the kind of tests that patients are concerned about, as well as the types of tests that they desire. Patients with chronic illnesses who visit the hospital will receive the following medical attention.

Having the same doctor visit you every time, as opposed to a major metropolitan hospital, is a benefit, but the drawback is that you can only get treated by only one doctor.

They attempt to mitigate the downsides by utilizing these advantages.

To put it another way, two specialists combine their knowledge of diabetes, endocrine disease, liver disease, and digestive problems to deliver medical care that isn’t “exclusive”. The treatment policy for newly visited patients is set by two people considering the entire patient.

This clinic operates based on the principle that all medical experts should improve their skills so they can provide the best care to their patients.

Many internal medicine diseases can progress without any subjective symptoms. If you notice any changes in your bodily conditions, this is the place to get consult and treatment.

According to their website: “We strive to ensure that specialists in two different fields, diabetes, endocrine disease, liver disease, and digestive diseases, are required to improve their knowledge and skills every day so that they can provide better medical care to patients while making use of each other’s strengths.

Many internal medicine diseases progress without subjective symptoms, and it is not uncommon for patients to already need treatment if they notice. If you can receive regular checkups without hesitation and feel any changes in your physical condition, please come to consult us as soon as possible.”

Here’s what Luke Palfreeman thought about their last visit to this facility: “Not much of a wait. Also the doctor speaks English which is helpful. Been using for last 3 years.”

Here’s what Ryan Lower thought about their last visit to this facility: “I contacted Tokyo Mental Health (TMH) in a rush, hoping to schedule an assessment before the end of my summer break. The staff responded promptly in detailed, personalized emails about my many questions about the procedure, payment, and time schedule, even when I kept asking new questions with multiple emails. I have foreign insurance with strict conditions for telehealth and other concerns, for which THM was extremely accommodating. Being from outside Tokyo, I, unfortunately, put off my appointment due to the rising COVID numbers, but I am very grateful for how attentive the staff was to my inquiries and thorough in their responses. I had no such experience contacting other clinics with delayed responses and phones that ring off the hook without even a voicemail system.”

Another patient, Tim Villainy, has this to share about their experience with this facility: “Recently, Ms. Holiday helped gave me advice and strategies for dealing with ADHD. I am sure my time with her will be my first step in turning my life around and regaining my confidence.”

The doctor and staff were all very kind and professional, acting quickly and efficiently during my entire visit. There are no appointments – the clinic is run on a walk-in basis – but I didn’t have to wait long to be seen on the weekday morning when I visited. The doctor is excellent at English and very easy to understand, explaining everything clearly in layman’s terms. You will not have any communication problems when interacting with him. This doctor has a lot of foreigners who frequent his clinic, and I felt that he was more open-minded and well-versed in international medicine than other Japanese doctors I have encountered. The staff also speak English to varying degrees and all try their best when communicating with foreigners. Overall, I thought this was a great clinic and the doctor did his best to find a solution to my issue, so I would recommend it to any foreigner in need of medical treatment from an English-speaking doctor.”

Many medical facilities employ the signs lined up at the station, but how are they used?

First and foremost, a medical institution that you can quickly visit if you are injured, sick, or get lost in treatment (do you believe having one is convenient?) Why don’t you try searching for?

This clinic, which was founded in Nakaitabashi and has a nearly 60-year-old history, wants to be a facility where patients can conveniently consult orthopaedics, internal medicine, dermatology, plastic surgery, anaesthesia, and consulting.

Their staff connects with various medical institutes and offer free medical consultations in addition to medical services (reservation required).

Here’s what T K thought about their last visit to this facility: “Mainly in internal medicine and dermatology, it also has plastic surgery, which takes X-rays and rehabilitates. While there are many suspicious manipulative clinics in the neighborhood, rehabilitation using a machine and massage by a specialist are truly true.

The reason for my visit was when I had a severe itch all over my body and other doctors threw a spoon, so when I was worried about going to a university hospital, I first came to the hospital. Even though it was my first time, the teacher looked at me, immediately identified the symptoms and causes, took necessary measures, and healed easily.

The explanation was also very easy to understand. I think it would be good if specialists in plastic surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine come to us on a regular basis every month to receive more specialized treatment. It’s not a pediatrician, so if you don’t go to plastic surgery, it’s not suitable for children. There is a well-known pediatrics department in the neighborhood, so it is better for children’s internal medicine.”
